History

PR Bridge Systems Ltd. was originally purchased in 1981 by Peter R. Bridge. It was then known as TRILEC Installations (1981) Ltd.

In 1998 the Company changed its name from TRILEC Installations (1981) Ltd. to PR Bridge Systems Ltd., doing business as "Bridge Systems". The new name better described the company's new direction and diversity in the construction industry as electrical, communications and security became interconnected.

Bridge Systems has grown over three decades from a small electrical contracting company into a comprehensive full-service systems provider operating throughout the province.

The Present

Today, Bridge Systems provides a complete "Integrated System Solutions" including, Electrical, Telecommunications, Data Networking, Wireless, and Security all under one umbrella, which provides very efficient and cost-effective services to all our customers. Bridge Systems brings its expertise to a wide variety of clients and projects, including residential, commercial and institutional work.

We offer design-build capabilities as well, ensuring that the project is correctly planned and executed.

We operate out of our original office location in Victoria, British Columbia which handles work up and down Vancouver Island. We also have a branch office in Vancouver from which we handle more remote projects. For the most part, if we can travel to the location, we will perform all of the work ourselves, but if the client is in a very tiny and remote town, we will sometimes reach out to a core group of partner companies to take care of the installation.

The Future

In the coming years, Bridge Systems will be continuing its efforts on evolving the business. The firm is about constant evolution, in keeping with the industry.

We are focused on bringing new projects online as well as bringing new services to our existing clientele. We have clients who have worked with us for years, and we want to be able to continue to bring value through service contracts and upgrades.
